For over 20 years, I worked as a union ironworker — building skyscrapers, bridges, schools, and even a football stadium. I took pride in the strength and resilience behind every structure I helped create.
But one day, I realized I wasn’t building what mattered most — time with my family.
My kids were growing up fast, and I didn’t want to miss another moment. So I made one of the hardest decisions of my life: I left a career I loved to start something of my own.
Today, we’ve built Kick It Junk Removal & Hauling around what matters most — family, hard work, and showing up for people when they need it.
Now we bring that same work ethic, integrity, and care to every job we take on.
For nearly 20 years, I worked as an electrical engineer on commercial projects including hospitals, schools, high-rises, and central plant systems. I worked hard to build a career I was proud of and loved the work I did.
But everything changed when I became a mom. I started realizing how many hours I was spending away from my children, and despite succeeding in my career, something still felt missing.
As Kick It continued to grow, Paul eventually reached a point where he needed help running the business full-time. Together, we made the decision for me to step away from engineering and help build our family business.
Today, I help manage the operations, scheduling, customer communication, website development, and marketing behind Kick It Junk Removal & Hauling while continuing to build a business centered around family, hard work, and serving people well.
